About Savage Daughter Jewellery

Greetings! My name is Chloé and I am the maker behind Savage Daughter Jewellery. I’m originally from London, called Australia home for a time and now live in the Scottish Highlands where I design, create and make unique jewellery pieces for those with an eye for something different.

Each piece is entirely handmade by me from carefully sourced precious metals and gemstones, inherently unique and one of a kind - just like the wearer.

My Story

I've always been a creative soul, most at home when working with my hands. Over the years that meant studying art and spending time painting and drawing — but when I discovered metalsmithing, I found a new connection to this craft and was smitten.

I started by attending workshops to learn more about traditional techniques and methods, before going on to more formal training and completing two diplomas in silversmithing and fine jewellery — though I consider myself a forever student, still learning and evolving with every piece I make. There's something in working with gemstones and metal that I can't quite put into words; seeing the piece come together is really special.

What drives me now is creating jewellery meant to last — heirlooms of the future, pieces that will outlive me and carry their stories into hands I'll never meet.

How I Work

Every piece passes through my hands alone, from first sketch to final polish - so my workshop operates on very small productions and a made-to-order basis. This means I usually have a small number of a particular design ready to go and this availability will be clearly indicated on the product listing in the online shop -Just look for the ‘Ready to Ship’ or ‘Made To Order’ description on the products pages.

Some designs can also be customised, for example to your choice of gemstone or whether the metal is gold or silver, so if you see a design you like but would love even more with a change, please get in touch as I can help you.

What I Believe

Jewellery should mean something, even if it’s a secret known only to the wearer. Whether it's worn like armour or adornment, I believe every piece should carry a story — yours. I take great care and pride in my work; it takes time to make each piece. Handmade jewellery really is special and is ideal for those who value sustainable, ethical practices and appreciate the craftswomanship involved in creating each piece.
